The dent we find, we can fix.
684 Detailing is a detailing shop first, but body damage keeps turning up on the cars we polish, so it is handled here rather than sent elsewhere. Dents, bumper scuffs, scratches through the paint, refinishing and collision repair, all quoted in writing after inspection, and every repair goes out detailed.
From a parking-lot scuff to a full front end
Color is matched to the car's paint code and proven on a spray-out card against the actual panel before any paint goes on. Repairs are blended into the neighboring panel so there is no hard edge, and the repaired panels are polished before handover.
- Dents & dings
Door dings, shopping-cart dents and creases. Pulled, worked, filled where needed and refinished to match the panel.
Quoted from photos - Bumper scuffs, cracks & scrapes
Parking scrapes and curb rash sanded, primed, painted and blended. Cracked covers and broken tabs plastic-welded rather than replaced where the cover is sound; replaced and painted to match where it is not.
Quoted from photos - Scratches, chips & refinishing
Key scratches, door-edge chips, peeling clear coat and sun-faded panels. Scratches that are only in the clear coat go to paint correction instead; anything deeper is refinished here.
Quoted from photos - Collision & panel repair
Front, rear and side impacts. Panels repaired or replaced, structure measured where an impact may have reached it, lamps and trim refitted, paint blended so the repair disappears. Hidden damage is checked once the outer panels are off and listed before it is touched.
Quoted after inspection - Rust & corrosion
Salt air is hard on rockers, wheel wells and tailgates. Rust cut out and new metal welded in, not filled over, then sealed and refinished.
Quoted after inspection - Post-repair detail
Every repair goes out washed with the repaired panels polished. Any stage from the detailing menu can be added to the estimate at the menu price.
Included / from $50 - Glass, tint & film
Windshield replacement, window tint and paint protection film are not done in-house. We will arrange or refer them so the car comes back complete.
Referred
Photos first. Then the car. Then a number you can hold us to.
Delaware law entitles you to a written estimate before repair work begins. You get one here without asking, and no line on it changes without your approval.
Send photos
Four from your phone: the whole side of the car, one from a few feet back, and two close. Daylight, not flash. Use the form or text them.
Inspection
Cosmetic damage is often quoted from the photos. Anything that may be structural, or any bumper that has been pushed in, is inspected in person first.
Written estimate
Itemized: parts, labor, paint and materials, with repair-versus-replace choices explained and a time frame. The estimate can show more than one way to do the job, such as repair versus replace, so you can choose what makes sense for the car and the budget.
Approve and schedule
Nothing starts until you approve. If hidden damage appears once the panels are off, work stops and you get a call and a revised sheet before it continues.
About body work.
Is the estimate free?
Yes. Photos or an in-person look cost nothing and do not commit you to anything.
Will the color match?
Yes, and it is proven before the car is painted. The paint is mixed to the factory code, sprayed on a test card, and compared with the actual panel under daylight-balanced light. Metallic and pearl colors are blended into the next panel so the eye has no edge to find.
Does a small dent mean a whole panel repaint?
Usually not. Most dents are repaired and the refinish is blended into the surrounding panel, so only the repaired area is painted. Send a photo and we will tell you what it needs.
How is the work guaranteed?
Paint and workmanship are guaranteed for as long as you own the car. If something is not right, bring it back and it is put right.
Can I have the car detailed while it is in for body work?
Yes, and it is the best time to do it. Add any service from the detailing menu to the estimate and it is done before handover, at the menu price.
